Finance Committee
The Parish Finance Committee manages the Parish’s finances on an ongoing basis. By far the major source of income is from the weekly collections taken at Mass, and Gift Aided Payments are a most important boost to this. The main items of expenditure are the Diocesan Levy, which is our Parish’s contribution to the financial needs of the Diocese, the running costs of the church and the Presbytery, and maintenance of all the buildings on the site.
A Financial Report is submitted to the Annual Meeting of the Parish, and this includes a summary of the Receipts and Expenses for the preceding year. The Parish finances are managed in accordance with the Diocesan guidelines set out in the Parish Administration Manual which may be viewed on the Diocesan web site: www.dabnet.org.

Church Choir
Aims and Objectives
To provide music at 10am Sunday Family Mass each week, Christmas and Easter Liturgies and other major feasts throughout the year and as requested for weddings, funerals etc. Given appropriate voices, we endeavour to sing in parts when able. We use the organ and/or keyboard and like to encourage additional instrumental accompaniment when available.
Who to contact: Mrs Flick Saunders, Musical Co-ordinator
Other Information
When possible we take up the opportunity of going to Diocesan events including the Choirs Festival, Music Weekend and choir days, sing at Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage and join with other choirs for the Deanery Confirmations.
In addition we are a sociable group getting together for meals, drinks from time to time and have an annual party and an outing!
We are always on the look out for additional singers and musicians - a keen interest is the main requirement!
AVE MARIA CD

Our choir recently recorded Schubert's Ave Maria. Copies of the CD are available from Flick Saunders, our Musical Director, in exchange for a 'silent' donation. Monies raised will be used to help parishioners who would not otherwise be able to attend, to join our Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes this year.
