Other Information

Practical activities are arranged to help the poor and needy. At our monthly meetings we will knit and sew in order to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Throughout the year ‘sets’ (scarf, hat & gloves) are knitted and these are distributed to the homeless in London. We also knit blankets and make little dresses which are sent abroad.

In July 2005, the Banstead Co-Workers of Blessed Mother Teresa, hosted an annual outing for about 100 housebound men and women, organised by the missionaries of charity.

The Surrey groups hold an annual Day of Prayer and also a weekend retreat.
